Marilou Maclean, Brookfield Town Treasurer, makes a public comment regarding the way the taxes for the school district are collected. Instead of a even amount each tax period a very large sum of 500,000 is asked for at one time, June, July and August. This amount is 70% of all the bills due for town operations for that period.
