Welcome to the Plan New Hampshire final "visioning" design- report for the town of Moultonboro New Hampshire. The meeting took place at the Moultonborough Town Library in the evening of December 17, 2012. Plan NH, a 501 (C) 3 non profit organization,( http://plannh.org ) Roger Hawk, presented the results of the Charrette they held with a group of 80 towns people. The active citizens used a facilitated brainstorm technic to bring out ideas of how they would change the look and feel of the village center. Plan NH's involvement was initiated by the Town Planner of Moultonborough to improve livability. Plan NH "Visioning" fosters the concepts of Smart Growth, Livability principles and Sustainable approaches into local planning. The Changes set out in the conceptual plan can use Sustainable Community Planning Grants to fund the projects. These planning grants are funded through the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, the EPA and DOT. Plan NH "Visioning for Sustainable Communities, originates from the federal governments international agreements to incorporate "Sustainable Development Principles into all aspects where humans have an effect on the environment.
